The Christmas Novena.

IMG_1550.jpeg

It's November 30th again - one of my favorite days of the year. In high school, my Mimi gave me a framed prayer that my great Grandmother had written. It was for the Saint Andrew's Christmas Novena.

The novena is to pray the prayer 15 times a day from November 30th until Christmas to receive a little gift from baby Jesus.

I made a wallpaper, which you can download here so that you can have it on your phone for when you're standing in line at the grocery store or going to the bathroom.

In 2013, I was praying it about my job situation. I just didn't know what to be. At the end of it, I texted a friend that I was going to be a calligrapher. He laughed at me. I still didn't know how to do calligraphy.

That's my Saint Andrew's miracle.

Saint Andrew's Christmas Novena

Hail and blessed be the hour and moment in which the Son of God was born Of the most pure Virgin Mary, at midnight, in Bethlehem, in piercing cold. In that hour vouchsafe, I beseech Thee, O my God, to hear my prayer and grant my desires through the merits of Our Savior Jesus Christ, and of His blessed Mother. Amen.
