The Marian Bandana is made of 100% cotton and is 22in x 22in
The pattern is made up of the stories of Our Lady of Fatima, La Virgen de Guadalupe, Our Lady of Lourdes and Nossa Senhora de Aparacida. The paintings were done by hand in gouache and printed on a white fabric.
The bandana can be worn as a scarf, as an ascot, tied around a purse or bag or hung in a frame. It is for men, women and children (and could even be worn by your dog!)

Erica was inspired by the "ex-voto" designs of folk art that she first discovered in Frida Kahlo's home in Mexico City. This is an interesting article describing in the ancient Catholic art. Artists would depict a scene where the Virgin Mary or a Saint had intervened in their lives. Erica used this inspiration and thought about the times that Mary was present in her own life. You can read more about each of these instances on this blog post.
