We used these last Christmas, and I was THRILLED. So beautiful and look wonderful in the base. One of our wicks were off-centered, and the entire candle burned to the bottom within 20-30min max. The others held up/lasted but couldn’t light all the candles during advent with one going down immediately. For the price, not worth the gamble of this happening again. Bummed because the colors are beautiful & would love to support this company!
Unfortunately, these candles aren’t burning well. They burn much faster than advertised and gobs of wax are collecting on the sides. My sons are studying Chemical History of a Candle and if I had to guess, I’d say the wick may be too thin and burning too fast for the fuel (wax) to be drawn up and burn properly. But I’m no expert. We’ve even been rotating the purple ones to help even out the burn time and not burn one all the way down. I really wanted these to work out as they are very pretty. But we are only in week two of advent and only burning these while we have dinner, but they definitely aren’t going to make it to the end. Our other tapers are beeswax with a thicker cotton wick and they burn much more efficiently.
Beautiful set of candles. Unfortunately one candle was broken at the base.
