Caritas Podcast.

It’s Monday morning. I’ve just sat down at my desk and have taken a few breaths before I opened my email. There is this great excitement in the air – Pope Francis’s visit to the US has given us so much to reflect upon, the supermoon coinciding with the lunar eclipse last night which hasn’t happened for 33 years and won’t happen again for another 18, and it’s my birth week!

I have been given some really amazing opportunities lately in both my work and personal lives. The most recent was the joy to join the women who have started a podcast called, Caritas. Their website says, “caritas is a podcast about living a real, spiritual life in the secular world. We’re here to join you in conversation about encountering truth, beauty and goodness in the messiness of life.” What an honor it was to sit down with them, which you can listen to below as we talk about my work, faith and recovery to addiction. It was a really candid conversation about addiction in the every day, how often we want to check out from reality and what we can do to combat this.

I love that on their site, they included show notes so you can easily check out all the things that I talk about! I feel giddy seeing a list of all my favorite things in one place.

And if you like it, rate the podcast on iTunes so that it can be heard by more and more people.

I hope everyone has a great week. Be sure to read and or watch all the Pope action if you missed it this past week.
