The First Day of Christmas

The First Day of Christmas

"Happy first day of Christmas! There is a legend that says the 12 days of Christmas song was used to teach young people about different aspects of our faith. And while it is likely just that, a legend, we thought it would be fun to focus and give thanks for these over the next 12 days!

On the first day fo Christmas, my true love gave me to me, a partridge in a pear tree. ""true love"" represents God and the partridge (who is known to sacrifice his life for his babies) represents Jesus!

While many people begin to take down their Christmas decorations, we are just getting started with our celebrations! The 12 days of Christmas will end on January 5th on the Feast of the Epiphany!

Today we hope you'll be spending time with your family and loved ones. But then each day going forward, we will have a special offer to celebrate the Word made Flesh."
