REFLECT ON THE PROMISES OF THE SACRED HEART

Sit in a quiet space, free from distractions.

Read each Promise of the Sacred Heart.
Write down ways you are struggling to believe in each of these promises. Speak these Promises into each situation you feel is hopeless.

PRAY FOR THE REUNION OF DIVIDED FAMILIES

Whether it’s the brokenness in your own family or someone you know, Jesus promises through devotion to His Sacred Heart that He will bring peace to families.

Write out one way you hope to see healing and peace in your family or the family of someone you love.

Pray for that specific intention.

Bonus: write your intention on the mirror of your bathroom with an expo marker so you are reminded to keep fighting in prayer for it, and bringing it to Jesus.

ENGAGE IN THERAPEUTIC COLORING

When was the last time you sat down to COLOR? You can do this by yourself or with kids.

A very beautiful folk Spanish & Latin American custom is the devotion to the Sacred Heart with the use of milagros - images representing prayers asking God for miracles.

Where do you need God to perform a miracle in your life? Using our free downloadable printable Sacred Heart coloring sheet, draw and color an image of your hoped-for-miracle prayer. You can even cut out some traditional drawings of milagros as symbols to use. As you are coloring, try to sit in silence or listen to music that will help you be contemplative

Rest your head on Jesus’ heart

The first devotion to the Heart of Jesus was when Saint John the Apostle rested his head on the breast of Jesus at the Last Supper.

Find a crucifix or image of Jesus in your home. Place him under your pillow so you, too, can rest your head on His heart
