Mary appears to us in different ways throughout history. She is of Middle Eastern descent, but also appears to people as they are. Our Lady of Guadalupe appeared as an Indigenous woman to Juan Diego. Our Lady of Aparecida appeared as a Black woman in Brazil. Our Lady of Fatima appeared as a Portuguese woman. Our Mary doll comes in four different skin tones - deep, medium, light-medium, and light.

Our well crafted Mary rag dolls are a beautiful way to teach diversity to our children and allow them to form a friendship with Mary, our mother.

Mary is crafted from hand dyed calico cotton with a polyester filling. She has embroidered features and long, wool yarn hair. Each Mary doll is dressed in the same outfit - a removable beige dress and Marian blue veil along with a small tote bag.

Love this doll! My daughter (almost 2) also loves her. We call her Mama Mary. She likes taking off Mary's veil, however. We also ordered the motherhood package with her. My daughter LOVES the baby Jesus doll. She holds him and pats him and kisses him. She just started being able to say Jesus when talking about the little baby. It is impressive how fast she is learning with these dolls! We bring both to Mass for her to help keep her focused. Thank you!

The doll is adorable but my daughter wanted a light skin not the darker one that I ordered. She emailed customer service and left a message on instagram but nobody has responded. Could you please let me know what to do to make the exchange?
