The Our Lady of Fatima Novena
The 100th anniversary of the apparition of Our Lady of Fatima was in 2017 and I figured it was as good a time as any to pray a novena asking for my greatest desire - a spouse. I will preface this by saying that I had never had a boyfriend for more than three months at a time and had just lamented to my therapist the week prior that I would "never ever ever meet anyone, ever." But I thought there might be a special grace with such a big anniversary and today, May 4th, 3 years ago, I began the novena.
Long story short, I met my husband on May 13th, 2017. Last night it dawned on me that a year ago today, May 4th, 2019, we found out we were (surprise!) expecting a baby! And today we have our little Miracle of the Sun, Frances James.
